ROY: Lillard (POR), then a distant Anthony Davis (NOH)
Sixth Man: J.R. Smith (NYK), with Jamal Crawford (LAC) a close second
DPY: Paul George (IND), with Joakim Noah (CHI) and Tim Duncan (SAS) close seconds
MIP: Nikola Vucevic (ORL), with Omer Asik (HOU) and Greivis Vasquez (NOH) close seconds
MVP: Lebron James (MIA), Kevin Durant (OKC) getting closer each year (OKC)
COY: Erik Spolestra (MIA), but Gregg Popovich (SAS), Scott Brooks (OKC) and Mark Jackson (GSW) deserve a strong mention.

Could you even put JR Smith on a list for Most Improved, even if there are better candidates? At one point during the season, he really seemed to step up in a few categories.

Read an article that said some NBA teams avoid him like the plague, but could reconsider given the way he's been playing.

Hold up, hold up, how are we leaving James Harden out of MIP discussions?

ROY : Damian Lillard (Portland) - foregone conclusion

6th Man: Jarrett Jack (GS) - runs the Point so Steph can play a 2, hit some big shots, plays good D, will be a great free agent pickup. Honourable mention to Kevin Martin (OKC), Jamal Crawford (Clippers)

MIP: Jrue Holiday, had an absolutely outstanding season despite Philly's bad record, which may cause him to miss out. Honourable mention to anyone who plays for the Rockets, Paul George Tobias Harris, Nikola Vucevic/Pekovic, Amir Johnson, Demar Derozan, Avery Bradley and Kosta Koufos

COY: Kevin McHale - I know it's 2K, but simulate a whole season and the Rockets suck (number 1 draft pick), they've had a great year without a PF or an outstanding bench, and their best player was the third or fourth best at OKC and wasn't even a starter. Honourable mention for Mark Jackson, Warriors in playoffs for second time since 94, Popovich because I always seem to think it's the Spurs' last shot when it obviously isn't, George Karl (Nuggets), Larry Drew (Atlanta), Paul Westphal (Indiana)

DPY: Kevin Garnett (Boston) - the Celts are in the playoffs and Garnett has stepped up massively since his buddy Rajon went down. Honourable mention to Noah (though he's missed heaps of games), Roy Hibbert (Indiana), Zach Randolph (Memphis), Tim Duncan (Spurs)

MVP: Lebron James. Honouable mention to Kevin Durant

Most overrated player: Carmelo Anthony for being a total ball-hog who doesn't play defence and whinges all the time. Honourable mention to Kobe Bryant, the best player on the most underperforming team in history.

All star five: Tony Parker, Lebron James, Kevin Durant, Zach Randolph, Blake Griffin

NBA Champion: Miami in 6 over OKC

Isaac I didn't pick JR as he is the only player apart from Melo who has plays run for him, IMO he is either hot or EXTREMELY cold, no go there for me.

AK, why most improved, he was drafted #3 in a shit draft, he should have had those stats all along!!!!
