On friday at home the Pioneers beat Canberra 111 to 75. It was the first time for the season that the Pioners had there full team on the floor and it was a well balanced team performance.
The Pioneers travelled to Melbourne today to take on Kilsyth and got the second W for the weekend winning 76 to 68.

Knox pants the Rangers last night too in a dominant shooting display, CJ back to his best.
yeah not sure why SOJ didnt play friday night. He played for Canberra last night when they beat frankston.
looking forward already to the pioneers home game next week against Albury!

I was at the game friday night and they looked not bad for their first game with a full roster. Canberra were very average along with the refs. They definately are looking like a finals contender if they can gel.
I agree Canberra looked average but then they beat frankston last night, and pioneers got another win against kilsyth. The win against knox last weekend with a limited roster stacks up and pioneers are the only team to have beaten Ballarat! Pioneers should certainly be on the finals path this year. Defence seems to be a real strength of the pioneers.
Pioneers are legit this year & are a good chance at the playoffs. They should have no problems beating the Bandits who have been very ordinary without Ferguson.
