Boti article on Gibson's future
Adam Gibson's 251st NBL game on Saturday against Wollongong will not necessarily be his last as an Adelaide 36er, despite hot rumours linking him to Melbourne next year.
"It's all news to me, I'm not even close to deciding," the soon-to-be free agent said.
"I want to wait until the end of the season, then it's a couple of weeks after the grand final, so I'm three to four weeks away from a decision."
After Saturday night's final away game, 36ers fans will have an anxious wait as Gibson, who signed for one year with an optional second year, has his agent test the free agency waters.A sad tidbit from @nblfacts mentioned in the article:
Adelaide will complete back-to-back bomb shelter finishes regardless of Saturday's result, becoming also only the second team in history to finish last in three of four years.
Bankstown previously in 1979-80-82 alone held the benchmark for futility.
