Aleks Maric Team About To Make Eurocup Finals

Aleks Maric's team, Lokomotiv Kuban, is about to make the Eurocup (level below Euroleague) Finals.

Here are the team stats so far:

It was a good decision by him to leave a big Euroleague club like PAO and move to a good Eurocup team, so he could actually get some playing time.

Just watched semi final replay against valencia on eurosport. Maric played well, he seems to be so strong under the bucket. Looking forward to the home leg in Russia.

whilst in Europe ... - I am mostly a football fan but have got back into basketball in last couple of years - mostly NBL and Euro-comps. For the more learned fans - are we likely to see a return of our older players from Europe in next couple of years - like Matt Nielson? it would be good to see them back in the league after earning their coin o/s - like our football players coming back to the A-league ...

Interesting point Cliff, does the NBL have a better chance of promoting itself and gaining more sponsor dollars with older guys coming back from Europe etc...?

Or, is it in the young guns, those whom don't quite make the cut overseas, or just want to stay in this country and play in the NBL..?
