RIP Greg "Beaver" Breavington

Greg Breavington, a long time member of the SA basketball community, passed peacefully on Saturday 16th March 2013. Greg's involvement with basketball included SA Church, Telstar's Basketball Club (St Clair), Port Adelaide, Woodville, North Adelaide.
A funeral service will be conducted on Wednesday 20th March 2013 at 1.30pm in the Heysen Chapel at Centennial Park. Greg will be missed by his many friends throughout the basketball community. Condolences go to Greg's family. Rest in Peace.

condolences to family - known the man for about 40 years - have fond memories of basketball at st clair in the 1970's and meeting greg.

Hey Neil,
A terrific bloke, great for Basketball in SA.

He also coached at Sturt.

I have known Beaver for a long time! He will be missed.

Some of the finest words you can say about someone, from where I sit, is that they were an absolute gentleman, humble, helpful, always available and a shining example of all that's good in society. Beav is all these and more. Thoughts and prayers are with your family.

The memories of Greg Breavington - Beaver - will all centre around his great love of family,friends and basketball.Those who knew him as a Warrior,know his great passion for the club,his never say no attitude,his generosity,his friendship,his humour, his love of all things green and gold. Gone but never to be forgotten - A True Warrior - WARRIOR PRIDE lived in Beaver. ThougHts and prayers to his family.
