Delly needs to be the big target.
He should be given priority over Gibson at this stage.
Problems that I saw this year:
-Too many PGs/Combo guards: Crosswell, Gibson, Cadee, Christopherson, Daly.
-Cadee's role: I didn't really understand his role this year. He isn't a big-time distributor, so are the 36ers utilizing him as a scorer? In all but that one game where he went off for 20-something, I mostly just saw him bring the ball up and make the odd shot -- which Daly was doing for a hell of a lot less money. Is Cadee really starting material? Look at the quality of other starting 2 guards in the league..Lisch, Corletto/Bruton, Gliddon, Goulding.
-Lack of scoring from a SG. Ties into my above argument. The 36ers would be the worse in the competition (maybe 2nd last to the Hawks -- Demos) in terms of scoring from the Shooting Guard position. The two top teams have inside and outside scoring (NZ with Pledger/Vukona and Corletto/Bruton. Perth with Redhage/Knigh and Lisch). The 36ers only had a reliable inside scorer in DJ, but very little on the outside
-Coach. Self-explanatory.
-Lack of defensive stoppers. Gibson was really doing it all on his own. Good teams play defense as a team, Perth being the prime example. However, certain players really let down the 36ers defense at times..Only took a few weak links here and there. Compared with the Breakers who have the likes of Cedrick, Vukona and Boucher in their starting lineup!
