LeBron James linked to steroids.

http://ibnsportswrap.com/article.php?articleID=28

Here is an article on the possibility Lebron James has been on the roids. Article also includes Jameer Nelson. Looks pretty dodgy, but im sure the NBA wont investigate. Id bet even if guilty the NBA would only give them a slap on the wrist anyways like Hedo.

Highly likely I would suggest.
Hey anyone wonder what was in the 'secret' and 'special' injections Kobe has had in his knees in Germany?

If a guy suddenly turns back the clock on an ageing body and it seems amazing - there is a reason.

The Captain, there is no secret to what Kobe got done in Germany and it is not against the anti doping rules either, the only reason he went to Germany is that it is not legal (yet) to have the treatment in America

If you're going by the physique, why not focus on Dwight Howard?

This forum thread could just have easily been about the recent rumor that LBJ is calling of his wedding.
http://www.hoopsvibe.com/nba-news-and-rumors/articles/170641-rumor-alert-lebron-james-calls-off-his-wedding

Or that he's a member of the illuminati:
http://allhiphop.com/2013/02/26/hip-hop-rumors-so-lebron-james-is-illuminati-now/

Point is, when you're the best basketballer in the known universe, there are going to be no shortage of jealous detractors or journalists looking to make a buck off a nonsense story 'cos it will sell.

Until there is any real proof, there aint nothing to see here.

The simple fact that he would have been tested more than once at the Olympics makes me think its the usual BS

Don't worry about mentioning names, no doubt there are exceptions, and surprises.

You would have to be a naive twit to doubt that a high % of NBA players are on "illegal" substances.

If you consider the physical workload of games, training, weights sessions, recovery, travel, at the level, intensity and frequency they do it, whilst maintaining "heavy" physiques rather than "light" ones, and given the lack of control measures, and the massive incentive to use...

And it is simple to take a "short break" around Olympics time, for those few who do it.

Having said all that, there is no need to get dark and bitter about it. Like all sports, it will eventually need to respond to the issue.

What about peptides?

Given they are very hard to detect and don't have the same side-effects as steroids (as they actually promote the body to do something naturally rather than artificially), I wouldn't be surprised if NBA players and other athletes were doing it.

It's not Dwight Howard that's on steroids.
Just his shoulders.

Kobe had the same procedure a that AFL players have had and they're doping policies are well beyond most professional sports world wide.

Would not surprise me at all to see q lot of players get caught with steriods or HGH. If you can jump higher/further or run faster/longer and you are getting paid millions of dollars the incentive is definitely there. Besides that the ability to 'beat the system' has been proven by all the scandals that have come out across multiple sports over the last 5 years
