Played with Andre for 3 years & played against him through juniors. The only better player in the comp back then in jnrs was Shane Heal! He didn't have an amazing NBL career but he was as solid as a rock 40 + mins in SEABL. Would be awesome if he coaches Australia!!

No doubt a very good coach BUT he does have a great squad of veteran playersand others in their prime.

he built the team, recruited the team and developed the team. he deserves all the credit for the Breakers success. Hell he even makes his assistants better.

He has developed a lot over the years, he was pretty average early on, which wasnt helped by the lack of talent.
What has been so impressive is how well he's adjusted the style in the past three seasons as key personnel have changed. Of course, it helps when you have half of a decent national team alongside CJ Bruton and Cedric Jackson!
He certainly deserves to be in the discussion with McLeod and Beveridge as the best current NBL coach.
he should be the next boomers coach if it is to come from nbl

Marty would have to be the favourite for the boomers gig. After all he is the only coach who is unemployed at the end of this season.
