Delaneys future
Where is he playing this off season? Waratah? Seabl? What club?
Also will the Hawks retain him for 13/14 season? Surely not!!

I don't see much of a professional career for him, he is only 3'4, However there are plenty of leagues for little people around the world... I suggest becoming a trolley boy at Woolworths, that would be a more viable option financially for the little 12 year old guard.

So he's not good enough for seabl yet he's involved year after year with a pro Nbl team!!!!!!!
So stupid, what are the gong doing...
Whatever he has over them ive got no idea but no SEABL team would touch him.

If he comes back he will be a fully contracted player as this is his last year as a development player.

The only reason Wollongong retain him year after year is because he is a fan favourite around the community

No as an extra in the Hobbit movies, NZ have development players that can actually contribute at NBL level so no need for a 4ft charity case sorry.
I'm sure the Blackwells will let him hand out the home made muffins Liz made at the game day shoot around if he asked nicely though
there must be a league some where that can use a miget with no talent. Hawks should be ashamed surely he is talking the place of a local junior that can play

You guys are all so nice ^^. The guy loves basketball and probably knows he has no big future in the sport, but if someone is offering you a spot on an nbl roster why not take it, he is just taking advantage of the situation while he still can, like someone said its his last year anyway so just leave him alone.
Nobody is criticizing Delaney for taking the role. It's the club/coach offering it to him that is what people are critical of. Of course any kid would jump at an NBL roster spot but why offer one to a guy who has more attributes of a future team mascot than a player?
The problem with development spots on NBL teams is you have to find someone willing to basically forego a career to be part of it for minimal money.
Often there are far better options out there but those people aren't willing to earn nothing and train "9 to 5".
This is why you often get players like Delaney, Quoufow etc on NBL rosters as development players, nobody else will do it.
