Just wondering what everyones motivation is to play basketball in South Australia. It seems as though there are alot of people who have been in the league for a while...
I would have to say that it is the team mates who are involved. you spend a lot of time with these people and it is hard to give it up. I also enjoy the Saturday nights after the game is over, he he

yeah gotta agree with ya, yeah the basketball is fun, but after you have been in the league for a while it can get a bit same ol',so i think the factors that keep you coming back year after year are the mates you make in your team and in the league and the nights out after games.. you would like them wouldnt you "miss drunk".

There is nothing like the feeling when it is a close game, you are playing well and you win. The adrenalin is unbelievable - i am sure every bballer has had this feeling before. Its like the feeling when you are about to take a tequilla shot (to u miss drunk)

Agree with all that has been said and to miss drunk, a great conversation starter. i have spoken to those who have been around the word and ahh ahh ah, they cant find their baby.. and they agree that there is no place like home. we have a great league here, all teams are competitive (almost all), games are close and exciting and it is great to be a part of it. And yeah, the friends you make top it off.
