Should Joyce apologize to Hurdle?
Should Joyce apologise after these remarks about Hurdle possibly faking his injury because he missed the shot?

Not until we get ALL the facts...
Maybe Hurdle is faking having the rest of the season off and even perhaps undergoing unnecessary knee surgey in order save face from missing the shot.

No, he's a color commentator. He's paid money to speak his mind; whether he's wrong or right about the case at the time it happens doesn't matter.

Joyce is a dickhead but no that's getting a bit sensitive.

Have we become so precious that we must apologise for everything?
There was no clear buckling of the knee, or twist.
J0yce made a call that he is OK, as it didn't look that bad.
Personally I would have stopped at that and hoped Hurdle is OK.
We don't need another National Sorry Day.

When did Brendan Joyce get his doctors degree to give a diagnosis?

Oh come on now, commentators speculate all the time and give their opinions. Nothing to see here, move on. As mentioned above its all a little sensitive, it was a bad call, thats all.

Not that bad. Looks especially insensitive now, but not a big deal.

He should not have to apologise for this FFS.
BUT he really should apologise for his commentary in general.
^Marcus Camby^ - we don't need another National Sorry Day? Your comments on this forum are bordering on complete irrelevance. Go hug a tree or Marty Clarke which ever you would prefer!
And Marcus, have you ever seen an ACL injury happening sunshine ? It does not take a twist or buckling of the knee most of the time but only a landing from a jump. Now go back to your hole !
natwhereyouat, he is paid to judge the game, while he is commentating he can say what he likes! brendan is the type of bloke who would off went to see Lance and wished him well in his recovery.
nothing wrong with what he said at the time as it didnt look that bad and lance didnt look in a huge amount of pain.
At the time I did raise my eyebrows I must admit.
Not the end of the world, but didnt really need to go there IMO.
As far as an apology goes, maybe not publicly, that might be over kill but I would suggest a personal one face to face privately might be the right thing to do

I thought it was a disgrace on how he went on about it, would he say the same if it was his son that got injured??
