reading into quotes from the web site - they can run 11+1injured for 12 - if they fit under the cap
instead of cutting another they nominate an injured player - who has to sit out the first three - then slot in as a 12th player for rest of season
looks like they like our laura - they cut a UCONN player before her!

Thats a real shame hope she can get back out there soon ...
It is cause she isnt actually in the teamyet, she made the 12th spot, so wont suit up till she is in the 10. dont know about the foot excuse?

Placing fit players on the IR happens all the time in NBA/WNBA. Don't read anything into it other then team management using the loopholes in the rules to keep the players they want without having to cut them...
