He went to Stanford. Did he play with Vlahov at Stanford? Was that the Perth connection?

Yeah they were college teamates. Had a successful run with the wildcats and then got a job in TV Basketball commentry and headed back over to states. He said before he left he was suprised by how high the NBL standard of play was.

I think his wife is Australian so maybe thats why he moved back to Australia.
