Hawks vs Taipans, Nov 17

Wollongong came back from 14-16ish down to win by 14. Deleon again leading scorer.

Pathetic offense in the last quarter. So much for offseason recruitment solving our offensive woes. Three games lost down the pointy end because of an inability to hit shots.

taipans are a fucking joke with their snail pace mechanical offensive structures ... They appear to be ridiculously over-coached and devoid of any basketball instinct.

Edwards needs to be an effort guy (offensively and defensively) to cover for him being the wrong fit for the team. He would have been a better fit than Warren last year I'd say.

He needs to use that frame and crash the glass and generally give 110%. Especially now with Rychart back, there's no reason he can't be aggressive all the time.

Being a defensive coach, Fearne should have gone with another defender, not a scorer, they have enough scorers. I'd take a guy averaging 2ppg, as long as he can get double digit rebounds. Easy to say in hindsight, but the roster is simply unbalanced. Fearne might have thought Edwards had more balls than he does. Fair enough he can defend a bit on the perimeter, but that's not where we need defense. We need another center/power forward...like Crosswhite.

Aaron Fearne was pretty pissed after the game. Loughton suggested that some of the Taipans were "out to get their stats" and Fearne agreed..

How many times already has Adris come on and just taken over the game in the clutch? Amazing.

Whats up with Wilson at the moment? Injury? Cause he isn't playing as well as last year. Neither has Loughton.
Hill is playing good however.
Wilson is a class act though shook tyson demos hand before the game after the death of demos father
