NBL TV Fix.. worked for me anyway!

i recieved this email from NBL.TV people..
Just passing it on to good people so hopefully it helps a few good people out!


our investigation into the issue is ongoing with our streaming
provider Akamai. If you're still having issues with streaming quality,
can you please do the following:

1. Click on:
http://ip.akamai.com/case/B-C-H3ESTZ
Akamai will pick up the required diagnostics automatically

2. set 139.130.4.4 as your DNS server, by using the following instructions:
http://windows.microsoft.com/en-AU/windows-vista/Change-TCP-IP-settings
- Windows 7

http://www.howtogeek.com/howto/38793/how-to-switch-mac-os-x-to-use-opendns-or-google-dns/
- Mac


This should hopefully improve the quality of your picture. Please let
us know how it goes.

Using a Telstra DNS server isn't going to make much, if any difference, especially if you're not on a Telstra connection. In fact, if you're not using a Telstra internet connection, it'll likely do more harm than good

This works!!!

Barely saw any of the first quarter due to constant freezing.

Followed the steps during the quarter time break and experienced no interruptions since.

When there is a lot of motion on a fast break the quality changes to the lowest and is pixellated but at least now it doesn't cut out and was smooth the entire quarter.

Likewise, worked here too and not on a telstra connection either. Went from inconsistent freezing and 0.28-1mbps to sitting on 2.4mbps the majority of the game.

That's great news. You would hope NBL.TV will email that out to all subscribers to catch everyone who might have been having some problems.
