I have seen so many of the coaching positions advertised on here.
You would expect that teams would be starting training soon, if not already.
Only a couple weeks ago West advertised for a new coach, along with Centrals and Woodville women all looking for coaches, and South and Mavs men looking.
Any news?
West men = Paul Bell (returning)
Eagles men = Andy Simons (returning)
Sturt Men = Ton James Martin (returning)
Centrals Men = Scott Whitmore (returning)
Woodville men = Al Green (returning)
North men = Pero V (returning)
Norwood Men = Brad Davidson (returning)
South Men = Phil Smyth (new)
Eastern men = Will Smith (new)
Southern Men = Rashaad Tucker (new)
Phil Smyth as in the one that was at Woodville assisting al last year, or 36ers Phil?
And is that Will who 'played' for mavs and eagles?
Any word on South decisions yet?
And womens coaches
Woodville asst Phil Smyth not the general Phil Smyth is coaching south men next season.
Will Smith the player who played for Eastern and could probably if need be, be a playing coach.
Is there lots of changes in the women's Coaches Tigers, Woodville,Sturt, West.Has the Coaches been name yet ?

i think the predictable coach whitmore to be hard on the trial of any prepared to venue elsewhere

Now that the west coaches are set we can see the revival of decent basketball in the port. But please for the sake of the players, start fresh don't try to build on last years philosophy
