Boomers depth chart...

Hey

I am writing a bit of an article, and I am listing in it all potential up and coming boomers.. is this everyone? I added alot of NBL guys to the mix.. just to add all outside chances as well.. I am going to review everyones likeliness of making it to next Worlds and Olympics

It's amazing that only a couple of guys out of that long list can shoot the three ball.

Naturalising Lisch would help, but would mean we have yet another undersizd 2.

I wouldn't mind seeing Matt Knight get a cap. Brings a bit of toughness that we lack down low.

as for Matt Knight hes definitely doing his chances no harm! however, theres alot of talent in his spot for him to contend with

Re 3 point shooters, there are a couple of good ones at college that have just started this season, Taylor Dyson from Knox and Mitch Riggs from Frankston.

When I look into that depth chart and think about 2014-16.. Its going to be TOUGH to snag a position in the 12... especially for NBL guys, Id only expect gibson to make the cut.. with the smokeys being Madgen/Steindl/Gliddon

Not sure why anyone would waste their time writing about Lucas Walker, Ben Madgen or Aaron Bruce's chances of making the Olympic team (to name just a few)...

I think its fair to say they are outside chances.. but very unlikely to make it. as I write on my 2016 team roster, I dont expect any NBL guys to make the next olympics, maybe even the next worlds except Adam Gibson... They may however play the Lead up games and NZ and CHina series

I think its important to get as many guys into the boomers program as possible as injury insurance, thats one thing Basketball australia has done well in the past decade, we need more exhibition and try out games to put young guys through there paces. I am most excited about Exum/Simmons/Maker/Brokohff. i think the team i listed would be great,, Exum/Simmons/Maker/Bro-k... future NBA potential right there.

ah yes, good shooter I believe too... theres alot of young guys commin up that are gonna rattle the boomers status quo... cant wait for Ben Simmons to come of age hes gonna be an NBA star I think

No, I don't think either Cadee or Bairstow are in our best 12 yet. That doesn't mean that they won't play against NZ next month though.
