Jawai To Bench For ACB Games Instead Of Ingles

So, Barca was going to bench Joe Ingles for all the ACB games, and he wanted out of the team as a result, as already reported.

But after the Olympics, Barca changed their mind and will let him play in the ACB, and will also give him another chance to make the team's rotation this year.

However, because of this, Nathan Jawai will now be benched for all ACB games instead.

would rather see both of them go to a good team where they could get more minutes.

Barca is an incredibly high level team, just like CSKA, Panathinaikos, Olympiacos...

Barca isn't doing anything odd in how the treated Ingles. Up until now he has not actually been good enough to consistently crack their 10 man rotation.

You are talking about a team that would easily beat most NBA teams.

Sometimes, it is very clear from the comments here that Australians don't understand how high the level is in the big Euroleague clubs.

The truth is that both Jawai and Ingles are very lucky to have even been given a chance to play in a club like Barca.

Easy, they'd probably be better than the bottom 1/3 of NBA teams if they played in that league. Wouldn't be a playoff team though.

ridiculous that they would beat most, at best they could be a .500 team although ingles should be in the nba anyway

They kept Ricky Rubio glued to the bench during his time there, so this is no surprise.

Jack - " Up until now he has not actually been good enough to consistently crack their 10 man rotation."

His inconsistent minutes, especially this season just passed, had nothing to do with him not being good enough. You need to watch more games before running your mouth like that. It is mostly to do with politics & a coach who plays guys based on salary first & production/form second.
