Julius Hodge
Would it be worth any team giving Julius another crack? He may have matured a lot since his early days out here.

He's recently played for a Vietnamese team and for a team in a Puerto Rican town with a population of 58,000 people. 10 PPG in PR and 3 PPG (?!) in Venezuela?
Never seems to stay with one team for long.
Asia Basket has him listed with Jiangsu, but their roster on Wikipedia doesn't name him. Can't find an English version of the CBA site.

No chance in hell. After his last stint NBL teams wouldn't touch him.
He also said via twitter a few months ago that he's not allowed back in the league, what ever that means.

Released by the Vietnamese team : " A talented player on the court , but players and management were in consensus to let Julius move on . "

The guy is what 29? And he still hasn't grown up. Stick a fork in him.
So much talent wasted on a bad head!

Mostly doing things outta team rules .
Likes to do his own thing in games and at training does the bits he likes to , does his own things.
I'm sorry, am I the only one stunned that there is a basketball team in Vietnam?!

He has been "happily" released from just about every team! There is a reason behind that.
I would like to know how many teams he has actually played for over the past 10 years.
Has he ever played a full season with one club???
Kind of spells out what he brings to a club!
He was a team leader at NC State and almost unanimously liked. My guess is that his NYC brashness rubs on a lot of people. He is highly assertive, but had to be so to survive in NYC. Hardly anyone from there can dial it back and if emotions get going ---- it ramps up and comes on out in full force. You have to really compete very very hard to even get to bounce the ball on the court in NYC, especially where he lived and played. Most definitely not a laid back place at all. The weak there do not make it very far at all.

Corey Williams has that same brashness and a huge ego but is universally liked by teammates and front office staff in this league. He's even a long time friend of Hodge's.
So what's the difference? Hodge is just an asshole.

He has been kicked off every team he has played on since college. From all reports it is his juvenile and unprofessional attitude which is the root of his problems.
The Vietnam team Hodge played for was Saigon Heat and it played in the ASEAN basketball team against teams across the region including Singapore Slingers and teams from Philippines, Thailand, Malaysai and Indo.
Their first season in the league and won 8 games.
Team got capacity crowds at their stadium.
There were 3 American imports but of the 5 Vietnamese on the team none were taller than 186cm with 3 under 180cm
