The six remaining players invited to training camp for a tryout passed their first test Sunday to help the Sun kick off the WNBA's exhibition season with a 76-71 win over the Minnesota Lynx before 3,873 fans at Mohegan Sun Arena.

As a whole, the group of new faces put on an impressive performance, showing that they were able to fit into Thibault's system after just six days of practice.

do not know - but is Laura going to train at the legendary st Johns ?

Sun To Hold Open Practices at St. Joseph's College, URI

UNCASVILLE, CT. (April 28, 2005) The Connecticut Sun will hold open practices at St. Joseph's College on Friday, May 6th and at the University of Rhode Island on Wednesday, May 18th.
On May 6th, the team will practice from 6-8 p.m. at St. Joseph's O'Connell Athletic Center in West Hartford. The practice on May 18th will take place from 5-7 p.m. at Keaney Gymnasium in Kingston.
