Are there any confirmed or rumours of coaching changes for the up and comming season. With junior club trials on the horizon can anyone confirm coaching movements within your club or from one club to another.
Not a change as such, but I hear that Ben Wigzell is coaching at Norwood.
Centrals would be kicking themselves. He was lined up as Div 1 U16 girls coach for 2011/12, but as Centrals didn't have a DIv 1 U12 girls team, the family moved to Norwood.

Fill, what's happening at Woodville? Is anybody left at all, or did the last one out turn out the lights?
Ben is from Balaklava and is a SA State Country coach. Loads of experience and cunning. Would have fitted well into Centrals State country programme.

In fairness, it's hard to crack into the BEST COACHING LINEUP IN THE STATE up at Centrals. So I'm sure they won't feel the loss too much.

Ben Wigzell is a up and coming quality coach, You on the other hand need to get out of you backyard metro comfort zone and see the real world.
Maybe a shake up at West is needed, maybe new vision/new blood......sometimes i think all clubs need to clean out some 'legend' deadwood who go past their use by date.
It happens, get over it and move on...

In case it has been misinterpreted, I'm having a (semi) joking dig at Centrals press release earlier this year, not a go at Ben. I don't know the fella & have no idea if he can coach or not.
Any other word on coaches moving?
Woodville have more personnel with the title of coach than they have players and unfortunately that trend is likely to continue with westies expected to gain more players.
West may alsp be getting one of their morr senior coaches

I have heard that Showtime is shopping around to all clubs looking for the best 'deal' for country kids.
My prediction is Norwood.

can handle a little bit of anonymous banter.... Have been doing bball for 15 odd years and become fairly "thick skinned" and no doubt i have some haters so having a go at me, means leaving someone else alone...So be it.

697, I think you'll find quite a number of people post as hydra. It's one of those generic ones that pops up as a suggestion. That's like suggesting every rubbish anonymous useless post was posted by you. Good on you for your loyalty to woodville anyway, must be tough.
West girls programme will not improve with the current so called coaching director who has not played the game, but works from a note book given to him by SASI, lost whatever direction there was, has his own agenda and can't see past his nose
I think the boys program is in more trouble than the girls at west adelaide. U12/U14/U16 all bottom or 2nd to bottom. How do clubs mess themselves up so quickly???

Perhaps BSA not following through with their planned "amalgamation" plans once Magic realised West was a better option than Woodville affected West in some ways. Still too many clubs in a compact area.

Goes to show how quickly the successful can fall. West were the last club to beat Sturt for the State Champs Boys title.

Heard tonght that the Simon's have dictated that the coaches with their team are not allowedto stay with the team for Nationals.
Cant wait to watch their kidss become non players because of their parents.
