Blaze members out of pocket/robbed

Many blaze members forked out hundreds already for membership next season as they were offered an early bird discount.

With the club all but gone, will they get this money back? is it legal? Can they become creditors like staff/joyce?

Not sure but the Blaze are not gone yet, I think they have until July 13th.

If you bought on a credit card you can get your money back as the service you bought has not been provided

Losing $12mill in 4? years is a joke.
Very poor business management at the very least.

Who wants to be a creditor?
They aren't getting a cent now.
Tomlinsons didn't pay up the $330k as agreed at the meeting 3 weeks ago.

Isn't trading whilst insolvent an offence?

Haven't they stopped trading?

They havent been able to trade since they entered VA. Any memberships sold once they went VA are illegal as stated.

They actually lost most of that $12 mill in set up and the first four years. Last year they actually did well in comparison. Shame it all ends once management (not ownership) finally got their act together.

Interesting BJF, thanks for the heads up on that re credit card purchase. Will give it a try. Correct though that the service has not been provided.

Of course they have stopped trading, but it is an offence to trade with knowledge that you may be insolvent, which on the surface of it, appears to be the case.

Can anyone who bought Early Bird tickets tell us about the letter sent out to them on Monday and received by most yesterday?
It must have been posted Sunday night or before 6pm Monday....before the secret meeting etc.

I suspect your credit card insurer will correctly point out that you got what you paid for - membership of the club for 2012/13. Just so happens that membership may be worthless. I would be interested to hear from anyone who tries that line though!

Was reminded last night that The Blaze and Dragons have/had owners that choose to walk away, not forced to because they are/were broke. Were there creditors involved with the Dragons?
The Kings and the Bullets had owners who were broke. Is that how everyone sees the difference?

Razorbacks paid out all salaries, but no Super for 3 months, after the last game February 2007. No more medicals paid for injuries/rehab after last game.
Interesting to collect info on how they've all finished up.
The common, totally screwed, factor is the players.
