Will 9 cover any boomers games live?

9 will cover the basketball games, but will probably cross over to other key or medal events also so there is no guarantee of seeing the game in full live.

Do NOT rely on Channel Nein for any coverage of basketball. If they do cross over, it is usually a time filler until another event starts: "We'll quickly cross over to the basketball to see how the Boomers are faring". 3 minutes later: "Now we cross back to the pool for the underwater hacky-sack".

I HATE Channel Nein.

IIRC thats what happend at last olympics.. every advert had 'keep watching for boomers game' and all you got was half or qtr of the telecast.
I think Foxtel will be the only way.

A real fan would stump up for FOXTEL so he can watch in full. They have a no commitment policy at the moment. Put it on for the month, then turn it off

I hate Channel Nein as well - their motto is "If it isn't AFL then it isn't important"

Foxtel actually have their guide up already...

It will be interesting to see if any of this is broken up like FTA attempts to show non-swimming sports...

Has anyone ever had the Winter Olympics or anything with Foxtel when they've had the multiple channels that can confirm?

When does the try for 1 month offer expire for Foxtel? Need to wait a little longer before I sign up...

hoopie: they don't broadcast the AFL!

Wookiee: They have 8 channels, the coverage won't be broken up. We'll see the sports scheduled in full i'd imagine.
