Makes him a lock for London surely?

No award makes one a lock, however he is definitely at the forefront with Bogut on the sidelines and the fact he was been part of the Boomers program throughout Brown's reign as coach.

In good form in a decent league, experience with the Boomers, Jawai not at camp, things look good for Baynes even if he is still rough around the edges.

Anon, Jawai is currently in San Antonio and as been tweeting about being excited about starting something and also working out. So two things could be happening, he could be trying out for the spurs or he is over with Coach brown getting ready. Either way he is putting himself in a stronger spot than most guys trying to get a spot

How would brown have time or be allowed to train jawai with spurs deep in the playoffs?

Im sure that the spurs have a rather large facility and ove read somewhere that they also support browns international commitments
So it is possible that jawai is working out using spurs resources

After euro comp Jawai came back to cairns for a week or so then flew to San Antonio..I doubt he is working in san antonio on Boomers program..most likely trying to train and look for a spot on summer league tryouts for NBA..disappointing would like to see Jawai and Baynes in the squad but at least Baynes seems to be playing well..Im still not sold on Nielsen, yes leadership blah blah blah but he hasn't produced any decent numbers in europe in the last year..once a great player, now just a role player.
