Surely this guy isn't like Eddie Mcguire and believes he can be behind the scenes of a major club AND keep commentating?
Why all the hate for this guy? Not an easy gig to commentate and did his best. He wasnt that bad. He is passionate about basketball and knows his stuff. Good luck to him I say.
Good bloke, but one of the worst commentators in Australian sport. No research, no memory for facts, and unable to string words together with fluency.
Good stuff and the professionalish that Carfino has shown on and off the court with the Kings and as a commentator, should help the Kings organisation try and get it right for one final time. There wont be any other chances, this is it. get it right or fold.

I think he's just a bit past it for commentary. One example was him suggesting that the Crocs re-sign Holmes when they'd already extended his contract in recent weeks and it was publicised pretty clearly by the Crocs, the NBL, across forums and social media - it was pretty hard to miss. If you're going to commentate a sport, you'll want to stay on top of at least the basics.
Isaac, pretty sure it was Heal who said that not Carfino.
I clearly remember a game on the Gold Coast with Heal imploring the Crocs to re-sign Holmes for next season a week or so after he'd already re-signed with them.

I think he was sick of traveling all around the country every weekend.... And having to take each club's And1 merch / uniforms with him so the teams would have uniforms to play in / sell (true story!)

Carfino wouldn't be reading here, thats a no brainer.

*Phil Hudson, Chairman of the Kings = Lacks the toughness to make strong business decisions which is the reason why he has hired his son, mate and mate of a mate!
Expect more embarrassing decisions by the Kings ownership group in the 2012/2013 season.
