She is a great woman as well as player - hope we see her in the future again

Firstly Deanna Smith was playing in manchester and was playing under the engalnds womens coach. She's been playing aba womens for the spectres this season and got screwed in the playoffs by hitting a buzzer beater 3 against ballarat and they counted as 2. She's got more 1 on1 skills now and still has that 3 and a left hand.

Wow. I now have people writing for me. Cool.

Deanna tore up England's competition when she played with Manchester earlier this year. She then returned to Australia to play SEABL with Nunawading where she tore it up again.
Deanna is an awesome player and deserves alot more than is offered to her.

Deanna Smith is better suited to womens rugby!!! All the good things that she does on the floor get taken away by her disgusting and violent defence. She's a bloody wretch!

I think deanna Smith was one of the best players in the league last season. As im one of her former team mates on the manchester team i would just like to say that she was a credit to the team.I wish her all the best in the future and i know she will be sucessfull on whatever team she plays. To all those haters who have something negitive to say about her, SHUT UP! She is not a dirty player she just plays tough.
Get over it and stop being a baby, Its sounds to me like like you have never played out of England or you have never played high level basketball, cause if you have you would of played tougher players than Deanna Smith!!!

Deanna Smith is a great person and player. She deserves Opal selection. She is one of the most underated players. She isnt the leading scorer in the WNBL for nothing after all.

All the best for the rest of the season and your future both with your basketball and life in general.

I cannot speak for the years when I didn't know Deanna, but having coached her last season in Manchester I haven't got enough words to describe how good a player she is, how eager she is to learn from everyone else to make herself better and what an impact she had in changing the mentality of English Women's Basketball and particularly at our club.

We all here wish her every success!!

D is a great chick & a great credit to her family for making a real fist of her basketball. Any doubters should maybe get to know the girl and watch her play, because she has some serious game. You keeping going to the basket D!!

Deanna is now playing in portuguese first league. Team: CAB Madeira (www.cabmadeira.net). She's doing pretty good numbers. Yesterday she scored 41 (!!!) points and the team will play the final play off.

Deanna has just signed a contract with a Russian team. She went over for a tryout and they loved her and wanted to sign her straight away. Well done big sis.
As for all those nasty people out there....if you dont have something nice to say dont say anything at all!!!!!

Will she be returning to the Perth Lynx in this the 06/07 season???...we need her really bad if we want to win some games...funny enough, she is stil on the Lynx roster! i mean wat the hell? well with perth's new line-up D would make the team just one step better and they would potentially win the 06/07 WNBL Season...Deanna please come back to perth!!!!!!!
