sidelines at cramped stadiums

can our referees please enforce a decent clearance at the stadiums without legal throw in space.

some courts if the person throwing the ball in has their feet on the line to get space ie along the bench at hillcrest, marion, port and the defender is right on the line.

there is no way physically a person can stand in front of bench people or spectators and have there space.

there is no legal space for the person to throw the ball in and the defender can literally put their hand on the ball and deflect it or worse still - take possession of the person throwing the ball in.

so sick of refs just letting it go

I'm amazed there aren't more injuries at NBA games, where there's hardly any room round the court for players to land when they're chasing balls or jumping forward.

same in the NBL, last round Gill hit the signs around the court at NSEC and Jackson is forever in the crowd chasing down the loose balls

Hahaha, that's nothing if you had ever played on court 2 at the old forestville stadium!
You basically had about 2 inches between the sideline and the wall! They even put a broken line about 2 feet inside the sideline running parallel so that you could inbound the ball!
