The Chelsea Daggers are determined not to be the first team ever in Hoops FBL to be champions one year and relegated the next.

'With the loss of Patty Mills and long term injuries to Harvey & Dave (Gruber), making the playoff was always going to be a struggle' said Coach Skip. 'The players are hurting bad from only just missing out on the weekend, but are now entirely focused on keeping this club in the league it belongs in. We will throw everything we have at DB5 and his cronies'

The Daggers have also be hindered now by the news of Eddie Gill injuring his had and is looking doubtful to suit up for the first game.

Coach Skip said 'We are fairly confident he will play, but a decision wont be made until just before tip-off'

The Daggers have also announced they have terminated their contract with deadbeat James Harvey. Alex Gynes has been brought in to the team in his place.

Interesting move on Harvey this week Skip, are we allowed to pick him up using waivers etc?
