JR Smith says he will sign with the knicks, suddenly along with Lin their back-court (which was horrible only 2 weeks ago) is now starting to look a lot stronger. Interesting to see how they play over the rest of the season

If true, the Knicks are starting to put a good team together. If Lin and JR play well together, the last remaining question will be: can Amare and Carmelo knuckle down and play enough defence to contend? It will certainly be time for those two to put up or shut up!

Terrible for the Knicks and Smith. Why would they want another guy who is all about scoring and plays no defence? And for Smith why wouldn't you sign with the Clippers and become a contender? Instead you go to NY and realistically are going to struggle to get out of the first round. Doesn't make sense to me...

Smith will be a good addition only of he doesn't screw the chemistry. If he comes off the bench as a scoring punch that we need, then all sweet. He can be a factor on defense too with his help D

Knicks needed to sign Martin not Smith.
They needed defensive depth in the block, not a gunner.
Oh well, you can never have too much talent or shooters on a D'Antonio team.
