Mitch Norton, how good is he?

I know the below are highlights but it looks like he has a great handle, passes well, shoots well and is a great defender.

Can play, not just yet, but can play.

VERY level head, operates best in the pick n roll, good 3pt shot, gets to the hoop well, could improve on dishing off in traffic.

Has foot injury at the moment that was a reoccurrence of a previous break. Looks to have struggled to make the transition from Junior mens to NBL but that will come over time.

Started on the U17 National team a year ago alongside Hadzimerovic, Odigie, Drmic etc

Pretty much what Anon said above.

Smart kid, knows the game. Great shooter.

Downside is he has no athletic ability whatsoever. Plays well below the rim.

He hasn't struggled he hasn't had the minutes to be able to prove if he can or can't play in the NBL, he hasn't played there due to injury. So may be a little early to comment might want to let him get some minutes first. He actually made U19's with Hugh Greenwood etc and broke into that team as a youngster. He was actually the starting point guard for the 19's until injury. Seen a few highlights on youtube, as a guard very good as a point guard very old school not just about himself. I would say watch this space hey. Most coaches that have had him rate him.

He top point scored for Australia in U17 seen him play at U20's last year very smart knows how to lift a team. Has that thing you can't coach into a player pride and respect for the game. I don't see why he couldn't play in the NBL. Any comment from Ian Stacker, Guy Malloy, etc.
