nope angela didn't really have a good game she turned over the ball in a few of the critical stages but hey she can't always have good games week after week, season after season - one bad game in a while is to be expected.

Angela never plays well against teams with quality guards.. I bet she can't wait to play Central!

shes obviously a very good guard... i think shes proven herself immensely.. yet, there are guards better than her (which may show her up a bit)

Lloyd Braun -

mate, hate to break the news to you, but Angela represented New Zealand at the Athens Olympics, not only that, but held her own very well. I think you'll find she does play well against teams with quality guards, perhaps not on the weekend, but claiming she never does is a massive oversight on your behalf.

You are right tho, given current form, i'd expect a better performance from her against centrals.

THINK MARINO'S GAME, OR LACK OF, HAD A LOT TO DO WITH SOUTHS NUMBER 5 PLAYER. # 5'S DEFENCE WAS GREAT, GOOD TO SEE HARDNOSE D BEING PLAYED. BUT TAKING NOTHING AWAY FROM MARINO, SHES A QUALITY PLAYER, EVERYONE IS ALLOWED A FEW BAD GAMES HERE AND THERE.

Yes great D by number 5! She seems to be putting up some good numbers too. And not a bad looker by all accounts....

Yes, number 5 (Carrbery) looks like she is having a great season and from watching the game and now looking at her stats she definately played an important role in Souths upset win over the Sabres. It was a good game to watch. Maybe Carrbery will be in contention for the medal? Shes got a nice shot on her and I agree with Anonymous she is not a bad looker at all so bonus points there. My friends and I might follow the South games from now on instead of the Sabres. But good game Carrbery and South girls, a well deserved win.
