I lol'd when i read the title of the thread.
I lol'd when i saw he was writing for the NY Times.
I lol'd when i read this "unhappy fans who were convinced that teams they disliked were cheating."

Rick, face it, teams cheated the cap.

However, i certainly agree with:
"Canceling games, which angers sponsors, disgusts fans and destroys years of accumulated good will, is not the answer."
