Only reason this dude was dominating was cause of his height. Once everyone starts to catch up and puts some weight on, he won't be anything special. Big fish in a small pond.

i say he's a big fish in a small pond like Australian Basketball.
Good that he's been exposed to American scouts who truly knows what to do to such huge talent.

the kid just 15 years old. stop bashing on him for dominating kids 3 years older than him.
Not looking at his extraordinary height, he looks about the age of 14-15, he looks a hell of a lot younger then 17-18. And for the Ben Simmons mention above, that kid is no big man, just an 6'9 guard at like 15.
He's done the right thing going to the US. If you stay in Australia you get nowhere just like our previous suppose to be huge talents Newley, Ingles etc. I feel sorry for kids like Cadee who chose the NBL over college - Big mistake!
yeah college was great for axel dench, ben allen and more...
From a source;
A class of 2013 point guard from Sydney, Australia who worked with Thon is currently being transferred to Country Day to join him.
Who is putting all this together? Certainly it can't be Thon Maker.
did somebody say he was 6`9'"!? He`s 7 damn feet tall!

This dude is 19. i know people who know him and have seen pictures of him at his formal. he is from Perth, australia. And due to not having birth certificates it was easy for him to change his age.
Does anyone else find it weird that at 16 thon maker is still 7' tall when he was that height at 14. Is he really 16??
I don't think he 16 anon and I doubt he will represent boomers.
