Has been a honorary Police/sherrif for years on and off in different cities. Its not a massive loop hole for the 'games' to get around. Good on him, i love this guy more and more every year for what kind of person he has become! TNT will be awesome with him on board now too...

He was an honorary sherriff, but wasn't it stripped after the "kobe rap" ?

Hopefully he'll be healthy enough to play given his final season was plagued by injury.

When he announced his retirement, it was mentioned he needed 9-months recovery. Bit concerned he'll pull up short if this is the case.

It'll be a little while before that happens now as he signed the TV Commentary role with TNT.
