Boomers v Spain in Spain in August

Interesting article about Lemanis' upcoming work with the Boomers.

He mentions how the warm up program involves 2 matches v Spain in Spain which will be a great test for us prior to the Oceania Championships. I hadn't seen or heard of these matches anywhere else until now:

"We go to China for a tournament and then on to London for an Olympic test event - we get to play in the Olympic venue against some good teams which will be a great experience. We finish off with two games against Spain in Spain before coming back to take on the Tall Blacks starting September 7th in Melbourne."

Sounds like a fantastic preparation in the lead up to the qualification series - a real build up and likely to be against quality opposition too!

Boomers vs China Game 1 Friday 11:10pm and Game 2 Sunday 11:30pm both on One HD.

There is going to be a few ABA/NBL teams that will be spewing losing there stars in preseason/season if the dates are correct!
