Quite a few combo type players in the team, just 1 legit centre...will be interesting to see how they go.

I'm confused .. are these players actually AIS scholarship holders?
Since when has Brandon Brine been in the AIS ...

They have had to invite other players in (Who aren't normal scholarship players)

This is because the other AIS players are away with the Emus tour to Europe.

Good point Anon.

I suppose their theory is that if they are going to take non-AIS people then they want them to be young.

Under 19 players (Emu age group) are probably too old. They would rather take 16 year olds i assume.

But that theory obviously falls over, because correct me if im wrong but Brandon Brine is 19 or 20?

So I really don't know.

They usually top up with older guys. Andronicus is a big man (19 or 20) Kay was Emus squad. They are both bigs from NSW.

Makes sense to have a couple of bigger, older bodies to compete against teams who are generally older than the AIS youngsters.

The AIS team lost to China 60-85 in their first game on tour.

For the AIS, Owen Odigie had 13 points and Dante Exum had 12 points on his first International Tour.

Everyone complains when SA players get overlooked for certain opportunities but now one does get one in Brandon Brine and people still complain - jesus!
