VJBL - early form - who's moving and who's not

Into season 2011 - 3 or 4 weeks played

Anyones thoughts so far - will your team make the VC cut or will they be in the top 5 at the turn.....

Can they turn it all around or will dream runs hit brick walls.....

Who's flying under the radar (the look out for)

REMEMBER THIS IS IN JUNIORS - BE NICE !!!

Besides the top two in both pools, the rest of the comp seems pretty even with narrow wins and losses.

VC cut is new, last year and this year we all play everyone in our pool (2 X 10) once and after nine weeks the top 5 from both pools become Vic Championship and the lower 5 from each become Vic reserve.
VJBL 1,2,3,etc stay as they are and the same with regional

and anonymous - you can talk about juniors - you cant snipe or name them.
and Im asking opinions of how teams are progressing....

good on VJBL.

BSA should take note - no free rides for under performing clubs / teams.

can't see vjbl fading off with tougher criteria.

same with my work - nobody gets a position because they have always been there or they feel they should have the contract - need a bit more than that.

Clubs performing well in particular across all age groups (Alphabetical order):

Altona (Improved younger age groups)
Bulleen
Eltham (Improved)
Keilor
Knox

They are 5 clubs that have impressed me across the board to be honest. Keilor boys program has really taken off and they look strong.

Geelong do well developing kids and achieving consistent results across a number of years.

Knox and Melbourne boys r always strong - a few age groups with 2 VC teams in and both clubs have done well at recent 14 nationals.

Sandy also do well in the lower age groups but dont seem to quite make it!
