ABL is a poor league by NBL standards, lets face it, for Dowdell to have a massive game, shows its no genuine radar. Man even Holmes was a walkin talkin mvp/triple double waitning to happen a few years back at mavs, yet offeres purely 'defensive' 'skills' in the NBL.

Creek fouled out with some unlucky calls from the umpire and perhaps a big night last night at the Sixers mvp thing? Either way it didn't matter south were too good for centrals. Anyone know why DJ didn't play?

Enough Dowdell hating. He's under-sized at the NBL level but has genuine skills, heart and can play defence. He will carve up in the ABL. The cat can play.

11 turnovers to only 3 assists from daly, that is amazing.

Have to remember that all these guys were on the piss all night before as well.

Dowdell will win Woollacott if he hangs around.

Dowdell averaged 27.5 PPG in the WA SBL in 2007.

Averaged 24.8 points and 8.6 rebounds at some point in the SEABL - not sure which year that was, but I'm pretty sure he was quite successful in the SEABL last year.

Of course all state leagues are a notch below the NBL, but to comment as you have strikes me as hate for hate's sake.
