What teams are through to the Grand finals? Were there any suprises from last nights games?

12 B Woodville v Sturt
14 B West v Sturt
16 B Sturt v ?
18 B West v Sturt

12 G Fville v Sturt
14 G Fville v Sturt
16 G Fville v Sturt
18 G Norwood v Eastern

I thinks its fantastic to see 3 of West Adelaide boys teams involved in the Summer Finals. I would say the movement of players from Western Magic would have something to do with the teams making grand finals especially in 14 & 16's. It just shows that this association formula they are trying to promote has worked over the first season. Just think where this could lead to for the future good luck to both clubs with the association. Hope your teams get the premierships you deserve this friday.

if west adelaides u81s pick up that western div 2 player that plays football for woodville west torrens - that was huge as he is a div 1 player. very good athlete

Out of 20 Div 1 and Div 2 Grand Finals from U10 to U18s.

Sturt 16 teams out of 24 = 66%
Forestville 10 teams out of 28 = 36%
West 3 teams out of 18 = 16%
Norwood 4 teams out of 26 = 15%
Southern 3 teams out of 20 = 15%
Eastern 2 teams out of 15 = 13%
South 1 team out of 16 = 6%
North 1 team out of 19 = 5%
Woodville 0 teams out of 16 = 0%
Centrals 0 teams out of 14 = 0%

Forestville and Sturt converting well into GF appearances.

West getting into 3 DIv 1 Gand Finals.

North and Norwood missing out on plenty of GF appearances.

South 50/50, while Eastern and Southern doing OK.

Woodville 2 and done while Centrals didn't worry the score card.

Eastern 14-16 1 girls both tripped up in the semi, should be in the final.Best teams all season, but couldnt get it done when it counted.

U16 Mav girls to be un-defeated all year and then downed once in an ill-conceived final 4 format is beyond a joke. Where is the equity and fairness in that? A return to final 5 format must be re-instated. Allows for second chance for the top team.When will the powers that be learn that junior sport is all about participation, reward for effort, and not elite posturing.

Ballboy, summer has always been final four, in the knockout format. If you're good enough, you win. Winter used to be top 5. Even now that its top 4, winter still provides the double chance for 1v2. Not really sure what you're complaining about.

As stated above. Summer has been top 4 forEVER.

This is district. It is the elite junior level. If the Mavs team dont want to compete they can go play social back in their local country association.

Just another dumb statement by another ignorant Mavs whinger.
