This is awesome news and respect to a man who dedicated his game to defence and hustle. Great to see some respect and acknowledgement.
I'd like to see him inducted in the HOF also, but have a feeling Stern won't allow it.

No! But he never likes Rodman, Artest and those outrageous rebellious characters that we love to see in the NBA. Wouldn't surprise me if he had a small involved in preventing it from happening.

Then again this step might increase the calls for it to happen, which I hope it would.

I don't get why monroe still gets to wear it. The bulls should retire his number 91,it's not like it'll ever be worn again.
