Who cares about Tariq...He's a ball hog and not even a good seabl player.

Nic Campbell is over in the states not playing anymore. He married into heaps of money.
Apparently his wifes father is some big time staple centre manager!!

Half his luck!!!

ALONG with Daniel Joyce and Tyson Demos, Gold Coast coach Brendan Joyce has earmarked Campbell as a future Blaze stalwart.

Fresh from college basketball in the USA, Campbell is a great outside shooter and can be relied upon to spark struggling offence off the bench.

Campbell had a sensational 2006-07 season in the US-based NCAA college competition with the University of California Irvine Anteaters.

Campbell scored 240 points and 47 assists for the Anteaters last season, and recorded a season-high 24 points against USF in February.

The 198cm forward has spent five years studying and refining his skills in the US. Campbell says the offer to be a part of the inaugural Gold Coast Blaze side was too good to refuse.

"I am very grateful for the experience of playing US college basketball," he says. “The talent over there is truly amazing and I have really built up a solid skill set, but I am rapt to be coming back to Australia to continue my career.”

Tariq Naqqash has been signed by the Kilsyth Cobras in the SEABL for 2011. He is a much needed additional guard to support import Zach Malvik, Matt O'Hea and Tim Mulhall - they will provide much depth this season.
