Veal this season

How good is she travelling?

Cambage is this seasons MVP but over the past few games Veal is putting up the best numbers of her career.

Forget triple-doubles, she got close to a QUADrouple double last week:
23points 9 boards 8assists 7steals

What's with the big improvement in her game???

Good coaching, discipline in her game not allowed to behave like a princess whinging all the time? Just a guess!

Something of a shame she's hitting per potential now in the twilight of her career, it's been almost 10 years since she last played in the WNBA.

While Cambage , who at 19 years , season MVP -
Graf -' So very good, still developing, still young.'
' Up to her.' Batkovic said. ' If she thinks she's ready.'
Both thought another year or two, here, before WNBA,
may be best.

I think it's time for Cambage to leave the WNBL.

Let's be honest, all her offensive moves finish in the key. And the reason they finish in the key is because there are only 2 players in the league that can stop her from getting into the key (Tolo, Batkovic).
Cambage does not have the tall quality players to go up against night-in-night-out to help her elevate her game to the next level.

on a serious note.

liz must go whilst her marketing value is at optimal value.

it will only be another year or two before another 200cm talent is unearthed around the world.

look at erin p - she was quite big in conn for a while - but change marketpalces and influences that teh player cant control have influenced her career - so unless she can stand out hugely on the court - she is back with teh pack all trying to make a living out of it.

liz must go to realize her dreams / ambitions - any organization worth it's salt would look after her.

Veal got POTW.

Cambage warming up for what is to become a sustained period of visibility in america, seems ready, the way she played at worlds.

If Cambage went over to the WNBA this season she would do fine, I'm sure. If she waited another year and continued to work on her game first, I think she might do even better.
Committing to a professional club on the other seide of the world and taking on all the pressure that comes with being a top 2 draft pick, while playing on a struggling lottery team, might not be the situation that suits every raw 19 year old though.

As for Veal, she is playing WNBA quality ball as well right now. She's having a fantastic season, and it's great to see.
