in one of the best games of the season so far in terms of entertainment and intensity, south has just held off a dogged west to take the game.
in front the whole game they almost lost their way when west stole the lead in the last quarter and looked like they might run over them.
great game to watch!!!
any one else there like to give their thoughts on this game???

yeah south women got up in a pretty scrappy game.
very solid team game although leah played pretty decently for west.

I was surprised when I looked at the stats at the end of the game and saw that Mencel shot 1/8 from the field as did Vikki Kelson from the Free Throw line.
Both games were very scrappy at times but all players went at it, even though the conditions at Marion were pretty oppressive.

On the box score in the mens games there was no P Bell??? what is the story there
He was in Sydney - had a meeting with the Netabll Players Association that he is involved with.
