If only BSA could negotiate with Port Council and Bulldog Foley to get a new stadium in the Port now.
The Port is now a safer area than the City at 3am in the morning-
Set up a 24/7 Muzz Buzz in St Vincent Street?

Just wondering if there is a salary cap next season in ABL? West have recruited Cattalini, Dowdell and Braithwaite along with Blake and other key guys who wouldnt be playing for the love of it.....
Either way it is good to see some clubs trying to improve the standard of the league by recruiting quality players !
I have heard that Cattalini will not be paid for playing. As mentioned above he is a part of Muzz Buzz, which could become the major sponsor of the Bearcats.

oh that's right .... not getting paid to play but probably getting a heap to be an assistant coach who falls out side salary cap .....
like I said, good on West for getting good players, however they do it cause the league needs the star players to get better and get the kids enthused !

How's your tool shed? You can't be the sharpest one in your back yard. Believe what you hear for once.
Brendon mann is the Assistant coach to Paul Bell and Cat will be playing because he wants to 'promote' his exposure in Adelaide more (read- business opportunity)
No need to be cynical. Players move to other clubs due to various reasons and promises (not to mention retirements), but this allows opportunities to bring in high profile players without stifling opportunities for Juniors to come into the program. There are plenty with potential coming through at present and they will be offered opportunities.
PS - the kids are enthused and why wouldn't they be?
"PS - the kids are enthused and why wouldn't they be? " Yea the kids like Bond and Spehr will be enthused by this ;) Something wrong down at West and they keep on making the same mistake.
