Early this morning Brad Newley and his Leituvas Rytas team came up against Joe Ingles' Regal Barcelona team in Euroleague play (rnd 9).

The Lithuanians caused an upset at home winning by 1 87-86...

Yep - a very close contest in what was a pretty big upset as already reported in the "Euro Aussie Watch" thread earlier this morning.

Just for future reference DJ Rod, standard practise in these situations is, after the inevitable chiding from LC, you then respond,

"Yeah, I saw that. But I thought it deserved it's own thread."

Face saving go to move. Works every time ;)
