Think Perth only really need a Rebounder in the side. Figured Wagstaff would be good enough to plug that hole.
Scoring isn't really required for them. Their offense is balanced enough as is.

Mystro, strong maybe, but that is a really big blow for them. They won't be able to bring in that mid-season import to compliment an already fairly complete team - they will need the import to fill the fairly big hole in the middle where Knight had been standing.

Mystro, you're certainly right about depth of the team.
However, without a strong frontcourt (granted Wagstaff is good, but not 100% there) the Cats will need to resort to outscoring the other team, because I honestly don't think without a true rebounder on the court, the Cats can hold their current standard.
Lisch would need to up his scoring, along with Weigh. Probably need Weigh to cover the hole in rebounding, which kind of limits their fast break potential.
Martin would have to rely on running breaks with Lisch and despite their abilities to finish, if someone like a Khazzouh or a Hinder or even a Penney gets back to provide defence, they might fluff half their attempts.

The joke isn't that he was bad (he wasn't), just that for years and years afterwards everyone would raise him as a potential import for almost any situation.

Trueman does OK, but he isn't going to give them the offensive options they got from Knight. Also, the Cats are 1-2 games behind the top two sides and home court advantage is going to be important for the finals so they might as well maximise their chances.

I would like to see Galen Young come back, didnt light up the stats sheet although at the end of the season he started to find some offence. The type of guy that wins championships, plays hard d, rebounds the ball and lets the opposition know they getting nothing easy!
