Only a 30 point belting and angela got her normal 30 mins so what's the big deal. They don't have a coach so no need to talk about scrapping one and they select only players who couldn't possibly outshine the daughter so that makes a good team selection a bit hard.
The host of very good players who have deserted the ship painted a telling picture. They are not a WNBL team in any sense.

Import misses a lay-up then sits down the other end and sooks!
Then says to the umps she will sue if she gets injured? OMG

Has anyone read Boti's article today? Lots of people may have strong opinions of Boti but his article was right on the money today! It was an embrassing performance by the Lightning (coaches included!). The Lighning's defensive efforts is truly pathetic, i'm not sure what the Lightning scouting report on Carly Wilson was but she is one of the better shooters in the WNBL when she is open & she was open plenty yesterday!! Canberra are very systematic at the offensive end & it is clearly obvious that they are prepared to make the extra pass in the offensive end to the open player. Where the Lightning offensive system lacks trust, movement & sreening action & if players dont get a touch for a while they become irked with this & will force up heavily contested shots the next time down the court with the biggest offenders being C Cunningham, A Marino & E Langsford.
