I was just wondering if many people had thoughts on the under 23 comp. good players dominating etc..

titan 28, so please explain how howell gets a mention for 18ppg his team has also lost 3 out of 5 games, yet dave humphries leads the lead in scoring with 25 ppg.

not sure you understand your own theory.

do you have to win 3 games to get a mention or just not play for centrals?

Amy south australian coaches cant read but can only see numbers which translates to only highest scorers can play the game

Too true Amy - I was recall a quote from Larry Bird when discussing about another 30+ game. I am paraphrasing but basically he said it is not the shooter but the player/s that get the ball to the scorer that counts.

Defense is an underestimated skill as it can't easily be measured by stats

Anyone can score 18ppg if they stand in the back court clapping their hands waiting for the ball to shoot. Or ifthey never dish off and see nothing but the basket scores don't show % either. There are some great youth league players that fly under the radar because they lack arrogance but just get the job done. Florence good, Giovane good with boards, hooley can steal well & shoots amazingly. Some of the younger ones need a little maturing. Interesting to see how many benefit from this comp.
