The aim of the WABC, which Hunt will now oversee, is to raise coaching standards worldwide through organising and conducting coaching programs such as clinics, courses, and seminars and develop coaching resources.
Hunt will lead WABC to collaborate with representatives from each of the five FIBA zones: Asia, Africa, the Americas, Europe and Oceania. These representatives will form the WABC Executive, with an advisory group being appointed in the next two months.
