Taipans absolutely pumped the Blaze tonight, ending up easing down to win by 34!!
Joey Wright was certainly unimpressed with the Blaze and Id suggest they have a very hard week coming up on the training track!

Question: didnt Joey Wright make a special recruiting trip to the US to find imports for this season? Now we have underwhelming duo of Davidson & Mayes. Begs the further question what Coach Wright got up to in America.
Saturday nites effort against Cairns suggests problems with the club and direction they are heading. Wake up Tomlinson family first your hoodwinked by Claxton and now the Wright / Big Joe duo!

It's disappointing to see the NBL's review of the Blaze vs Taipans preseason game on Saturday be all about the Blaze' loss and not about the fantastic win by the Taipans. The new look Cairns team was polished , fit and played great team ball.They deserve a bigger mention than they got!! Well done boys looks like an exciting season for the Cairns fans.
